DIrector's Message
The Carroll High School Music Department has a rich history of tradition and excellence. For years, Carroll’s performance ensembles have represented the program in a number of venues nationwide. The staff and students of the Carroll High School Music Department have developed a mutual commitment to quality, on and off the performance field. Not only do we emphasize excellent musicianship, but also leadership skills, dedication, discipline, and integrity.
The students in the Carroll High School Music Department understand the value of hard work, and the real rewards of the constant pursuit of excellence. In each ensemble, there is large collaboration of student leaders who set the standard for all other members. Every student is responsible for personal growth through the school year, in terms of musicianship and character. This individual development is a necessary ingredient in the overall growth of the program.
HELP US REPLACE "CRUSTY"
The Carroll Band parents are currently conducting a "Fund Drive" to secure funding to replace the current vehicle we use to transport equiment to all of our Band Competitions - the current vehicle is 20+ years old and in dire need of replacement - if you would like to contribute to the "Replace Crusty" cause please send your donation to Carroll High School - Band Truck Fund in care of CHS, 4524 Linden Avenue, Dayton, OH 45432 or feel free to contact one of the Board Members for more information.
